What’s your favourite hop? Bramling Cross. Beautiful blackcurrant aromas which go perfectly with my favourite style of beers. What’s your favourite beer? Mmm, tricky one.
An informative and extremely well organised event. The attendance and friendly atmosphere is a credit to Charles Faram customer relationships
A fine day out in the Worcestershire countryside, seeing the hop harvest brought in, hearing from growers how the season has been, and generally networking with brewers and suppliers. A very important and informal date on the brewers calendar.
Brilliant day out, insightful, grounding and informative.
An excellent and informative day in stunning surroundings with superb hospitality.
A great snapshot of the hop industry and processes.
An excellent and informative day, especially for someone technically minded but new to the industry. Great to understand better more about the growth and processing of a critical raw material.
Thank you for organising such an interesting and informative day. The technical presentations, seeing the hops being harvested and having the opportunity to meet industry professionals and other brewers made for a truly great day.
Interesting, well organised and informative.
The HopWalk is a fantastic opportunity to get up-to-date info on the current hop harvest, hear great presentations from industry leaders and learn about the future of British hops. I highly recommend it to all brewers, both small and large.
It was great to spend a day on the hop farm and I have a much greater understanding of all the work that goes in to the development and harvest of hops. I also really enjoyed the presentations at the start of the day.
It was our first HopWalk at Faram’s. The drive from Sussex to us 4 hours but it was worth it. The CF team put on an incredible day. It was informative with interesting talks, had relevant industry supplier stands and the whole day ran seamlessly. We’ve been brewing commercially for two years and this was our first ever industry event outside of beer festivals and bloody hard work. Thank you so much for all your efforts, we’ll be back!
The most informative and educational day of the year.
An event that you will realise you will miss if you don`t take the effort to go. Very satisfying
seeing the whole process. Rare to see so many hop lovers at one event!
The Faram Hop Walk has become an industry core event. Well organised & structured so very
useful for information gathering from supplier stands & networking Brewers & Traders.
Superb and informative day out, with national and international experts available and no “hard
sell” from anyone.
An important date in any brewers calendar
Real education to learn about the growing of hops.
A very informative and enjoyable day. We got to see hop harvesting through to kilning. Experts
were on hand and eager to share knowledge. I’d recommend it.
This has to be the number one UK event for anyone who uses hops
Overall a great day, passionate and knowledgeable speakers, exciting news about the English hops
Please attend if possible you will thoroughly enjoy the two days.
Cheddar cheese was amazing! A wonderful day in the English countryside.
This event was exceptionally well organised and very helpful
We had a great time on the HopWalk, it was a great insight into the process and the fantastic job that is being done in the UK hop market.
There is no better way to understand the year’s coming hops and explore new flavors and aromas. Going to the farms and speaking with the growers is an invaluable resource for a brewery. As a brewery that is always looking for innovation and ways to highlight the most unique hops we would never miss the HopWalk.
What a lively event the 2017 Hop Walk was. I hooked up with brewers while we walked around, both known and new contacts. The pace of the visit and the congenial atmosphere meant a chat was easy. I learned a few new facts about the hop market that have been useful to share as we came to brew our green hop ale.
Great place to meet with like minded brewers
Another great hop walk. Thanks again
The walk was very enlightening. It was the practical details of hop growing and harvesting that brought things to life
As part of their education then every brewer should see how hops are grown and harvested;and there is no better way to do this than to attend the Charles Faram Hop Walk
This was a great, well run event and gave our brewer a further insight into the industry.
As a first timer I found the event very enjoyable and educational too.
A must for any brewery wanting to knowledge on Hops specially English varities
