Aroma hop.
With similar characteristics to that of Hersbrucker, this hop is known to have a mainly floral and herbal aroma.
Hersbrucker
Originally from Alsace in France, near Strasbourg, Strisselspalt most likely has a parentage and relation to Herbrucker or German Spalt.
Strisselspalt is very well know for being a low yielding hop, surviving mainly due to the high demand domestically.
Despite this it does have a vigorous growth rate, and is resistant to verticillium wilt.
